So just how much time will you save? An interior paint job will take one day to one week. An exterior paint job take an extra couple days, but almost never runs past two weeks. You may still be thinking this is something you want to do yourself, but by the time you move your furniture, tape up all the edging, lay down plastic to protect your carpet, stir a dozen cans of paint, get rollers, paintbrushes, and trays, you'll probably be ready to tear your hair out before you ever start painting. Picking exterior house paint colors is a lot different than picking a color for a shirt or a car. It may help to drive around to observe colors that other homeowners have combined on homes that are of similar size and design as yours. There are also online resources that provide homeowners with the ability to create virtual makeovers of their home by combining colors together through their software programs as well.
Use spray paint to refinish your old bicycle or give any surface a new finish - glitter, mirror or just a new solid color. A fresh coat of concrete paint on a basement walls can make a huge difference. Protect your garage floors from dirt and stains with an epoxy paint. Don’t forget your bookshelves — douse them with some furniture paint to make them look new, again. Denver House Painting
Consider purchasing supplies personally to save money. Ask the painter for a bid that separates labor and materials. Then explain that you'll purchase the materials and ask for a list of exactly what will be needed to complete the job. Caulking, for example, is an extra supply commonly used to fill any cracks or damaged areas in your walls -- and one that might be overlooked in an incomplete list. Denver House Painting

I have done business with this company (Wendell) for a number of years spending thousands of dollars. Most jobs were done by handshake, paying cash without a receipt from Wendell. I recently had back surgery in February and needed safety rails installed in both bathrooms. Upon installing, I paid $400.00 cash to Wendell. He also took a partial cabinet of mine for repair. A few days later, the physical therapist came out and noted that the bars were loose in both bathrooms and were declared dangerous for me to use. I placed repeated phone calls to Wendell and left messages to which he would not return my phone calls. The lady who answered the phone said he would call me back but never did. I had to pay someone else to repair the bathroom bars at additional expense to me. I called a few weeks ago and he actually answered the phone. I asked him about the cabinet and requested he return it "as is". He replied he had it and disconnected the phone call. I would advise that NO ONE would use this company. The work is poor and he request cash without a receipt. BEWARE. Denver Home Painting
